Following a review in 2016, the聽聽confirmed the quality of the student experience and the academic standard of awards at Robert Gordon University. This means that our degrees are awarded and recognised in the United Kingdom (UK). Furthermore, a number of our courses are also recognised and accredited by relevant professional bodies in the UK, further confirming the quality of our provision.
However, recognition outside the UK may vary. Therefore, applicants who plan to use Robert Gordon University qualification for employment or further study outside the UK, should check locally with their Ministry of Education or relevant bodies regarding the recognition of the qualification.聽Individual governments are responsible for updating their own state's approved lists. Entry Requirements

Applications are considered on an individual basis and other qualifications or聽work experience may be taken into consideration.
Undergraduate Requirements
- Students applying from Qatar for an undergraduate course with qualifications from any international high school (i.e. A levels or International Baccalaureate) are expected to have results comparable to students from UK institutions.聽 Visit the course page for Entry Requirements.
- Students with a General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanawiya) with 70% or higher will be required undertake a pathway programme at our聽

- Applicants聽who do not hold an International High School qualification will be expected to undertake a pathway programme at our聽
- Students with a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma may be considered for Year 2 entry with DDD or DDM, depending on the course. 聽Year 2 entry is not available for all programmes, and some may require specific subjects.
- Students with a mixture of BTEC Level 3 and A level qualifications may also be considered for either year 1 or 2 entry depending on the course and subject requirements.
- Students with a BTEC HND may be considered for year 3 entry to a relevant course subject to course mapping.

Postgraduate Requirements
- Students applying from Qatar for a postgraduate course, a 4 year Bachelors Degree with a GPA 2.7/4.0 or better will be considered for courses which require a 2.2 degree
- For courses which ask for a 2.1, GPA 3.0/4 or better is required
