We are the 'professional university' and prepare our graduates for the world of work. Our strong links with industry mean that many of our courses are designed by those working in industry, who actually inform course content by the skills they require from our graduates.
Our students also have the opportunity to balance their study with part-time work to help develop their interpersonal and professional skills.

Entry Requirements

Applications are considered on an individual basis and other qualifications or聽work experience may be taken into consideration.
Undergraduate Requirements

- Applicants with HSC聽may be considered for entry through our聽聽at Robert Gordon University
- Students with a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma may be considered for Year 2 entry with DDD or DDM, depending on the course. 聽Year 2 entry is not available for all programmes, and some may require specific subjects.
- Students with a mixture of BTEC Level 3 and A level qualifications may also be considered for either year 1 or 2 entry depending on the course and subject requirements.
- Students with a BTEC HND may be considered for year 3 entry to a relevant course subject to course mapping.
English Language聽
Most undergraduate courses require an IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each area. Some courses require a higher English language score. Always check the relevant course page聽and our English Language Requirements page聽before applying.
Postgraduate Requirements
- Graduates with a 4-year degree from BUET must have a minimum 55% or GPA 2.75/5.0
- Graduates with a Bachelors degree of at least two years duration, followed by a Master's degree will be considered
- A small number of University postgraduate programmes do require a minimum of second class upper classification, or an equivalent . Please refer to the relevant course page

- Students who do not meet our direct entry requirements may be able to undertake a pre-masters programme through our聽聽at Robert Gordon University
