There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in Sustainability at 91传媒! Whether you鈥檙e staff or student, interested in biodiversity, environmental awareness or innovation, volunteering or societies, there鈥檚 something for everyone.
Stand out events so far in 2025 include:
- Sustainability Week exhibiting the Achieving Net Zero poster created by 91传媒鈥檚 own Iain Morrison and Professor James Njuguna which present issues and challenges to achieving net zero and insight into existing power sources
- Our Campus, Our World event showcasing the 91传媒 community鈥檚 efforts to achieve a more sustainable future for all, including student research projects, film presentations, biodiversity talks, and interactive stations for staff innovations.
- Cycling Week offering Cycling Confidence sessions, bike repair stalls and a second-hand bike sale.
- Litter picking along the riverbank as part of the River Dee Trust鈥檚 Source to Sea initiative.
- Regular volunteer sessions at Waterside Farm making huge strides in the restoration of the nature reserve.
- Launch of our Biodiversity Photo Competition inviting staff and students to capture the vibrant biodiversity on campus.
